Building Low Resistance Funnel Stages for a Smoother Customer Journey
There’s plenty of information out there about how a smoother customer journey leads to higher conversion rates and increased satisfaction. Obvious stuff, right? Here’s my quick step-by-step guide on creating, managing, and optimizing your funnel stages.
FIRST: Create a bullet list of key touchpoints and interactions your customers have with your brand, from initial awareness to conversion and also customer success. Pay special attention to include all potential channels, as well as engagement methods.
SECOND: Map Your Funnel Stages using a simple flow chart. For example:
THIRD: Develop content and messaging tailored to each funnel stage to guide prospects seamlessly through their journey and address their specific needs and pain points.
Top of Funnel: This type of content should help them understand their problem.
Middle of Funnel: This type of content should present potential solutions to solve their problem.
Bottom of Funnel: This type of content should help determine which solution to choose.
FOURTH: Utilize tools like Google Analytics or CRM systems to track customer interactions at each funnel stage and gather valuable insights into their behavior and preferences. We’ll talk about what data to look at in future tips.
FIFTH: Test and refine your funnel stages and messaging to optimize performance and enhance the overall customer experience, leveraging A/B testing and data-driven decision-making. Again, this will be focused on in future tips.
